Sheikh Hamoudi meets Deputy Foreign Minister of Australia

During his meeting with an international delegation that included Deputy Foreign Minister of Australian Mark Anis Brown and Australian Ambassador in Baghdad, the First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi remarked that the demonstrators aim at achieving reform and providing better living conditions.

Sheikh Hamoudi remarked that the country is going through real challenges that go in line with the demands for government’s reform; first, fighting ISIS and the need for international cooperation to eliminate it.  The second challenge is the financial crisis that the country goes through, calling Australia to boost the security and military coordination and support the displaced people.

For their part, the delegation members expressed their country’s keenness on strengthening the bilateral relations and supporting Iraq in its war against terrorism.
