Sheikh Hamoudi urges government to act quickly to protect the public in Tuz

The First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi urged the government to intervene immediately to bring security and the rule of law to Tuz Khurmatu and protect the innocent people there and to bring those behind the recent acts of violence to justice.

Sheikh Hamoudi called all political parties to exercise restraint and do everything in their power to calm the situation, stressing that political disputes primarily serve ISIS’s interests.
