Sheikh Hamoudi stresses need for syndicates and professional associations to participate in nominating members of independent commissions

During his meeting with the President of Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Jaafar al-Hamdani and his accompanying delegation, Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi stressed the importance of involving the trade unions, chambers of commerce and professional associations in nominating the members of the independent bodies.

Sheikh Hamoudi responded positively to the range of suggestions that were put forward by the delegation members mainly the need for reducing the excess money supply to achieve monetary mass balance and maintain the stability of the exchange rate that fit the needs of the national economy.

Sheikh Hamoudi also highlighted the need for the trade unions and professional associations to take part in the meeting of the parliamentary committees and provid projects and studies targeted at solving problems and developing the parliamentary work, and called the concerned authorities to set a financial plan to get the economy moving, attract and protect investors in the country, develop monetary policy, and supervision of banks and tackle inflation.
