The Speaker, US ambassador discuss latest security and political updates

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Monday September 5, 2016 the US ambassador to Iraq Mr. Douglas A. Silliman

During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political developments and Nineveh liberation operations in addition to the need for international community’s support to sustain the war effort.

For his part, Mr. Douglas expressed his happiness for representing his country in Iraq and confirmed his country’s continued support to Iraq, emphasizing the importance of the victories that have been achieved by Iraqi army against ISIS.
