The Speaker, German Defence Minister discuss the war against ISIS

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met in his office the German Minister of Defence Ms. Ursula von der and her accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed the security and military developments and the war against ISIS, where the Speaker stated, “Iraq is fighting a war on behalf of the world and is providing security and protection to many countries”.

He added, “All the military formations effectively contribute to ward off terrorist threats. However, Iraq is still in dire need for the international community’s support to permanently eradicate ISIS”.
