The Speaker, Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Iraq discuss post ISIS era in Iraq

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met the Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Iraq Mr. Jan Kubis. During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the Mosul liberation operations and the situation of the IDPs.

The Speaker stressed the need to provide great support and effort in humanitarian arena and to set appropriate plans for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the liberated cities to bring back the IDPs as soon as possible. He also highlighted the importance of setting a road map to post ISIS era in Iraq that promotes community reconciliation and social cohesion.
