The Speaker vows to follow up the issue of detainees of Tarmiyah area

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met a delegation of Sheikhs and dignitaries of al-Tarmiya area, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud al-Mashadani.
The delegation members briefed the Speaker on the raid that took place in Tarmiyah area by troops affiliate to the Baghdad Operations Command, as stated by some of the released detainees.
The Speaker confirmed his personal following up of the case and that he urged the General Commander of the Armed Forces Mr. Haider al-Abadi to detect raiding force and release the detainees.
The Speaker remarked that the parliamentary committee of Security and Defense is fully informed and has already taken action to investigate this matter and release all the detainees.
