The Speaker, Romanian ambassador discuss bilateral relations

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met in his office on Tuesday the ambassador of Romania to Iraq Mr. Jacob Prada. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, the latest security and political updates and the progress of the war against ISIS.
The Speaker stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and intensifying international efforts to drain the sources of terrorism.
For his part, Mr. Prada confirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in all fields, lauding at the same time the role of the Iraqi parliament in strengthening the foundations of democracy in the country.
