The Speaker, PM discuss latest security and political updates

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met in his office on Wednesday the Prime Minister Dr. Haidar Al-Abadi. During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political developments, the progress of Mosul’s operations and means of strengthening coordination and cooperation between legislative and executive authorities.

The two sides stressed the importance of supporting all efforts that aim at achieving stability and taking necessary measures to build bonds of trust pursuant to the Iraqi constitution to build a strong state, with full sovereignty.

They also agreed on the importance of promoting cooperation and coordination between Iraq and its neighbors and friends to ensuring the interests of Iraq at all levels.
