The Speaker meets delegation of Ahrar movement

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met in his office on Saturday May 20, 2017 a delegation of Ahrar movement. During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political updates, the regulatory and supervisory role of the COR and the most important legislations that will be approved during the next phase.
The Speaker stressed the importance of passing important laws during the remaining period of the current electoral cycle, urging the political parties to give priority to people’s interest.
Al-Jubouri added that the war against ISIS is nearing an end and called all parties to be prepared for the post ISIS phase and participate in construction and rehabilitation.
For their part, the delegation members appreciated the Speaker’s role for unifying the views of the political blocs and urging them to unite in order to achieve stability in the country.
