The Speaker visits Arab Jubour areas in southern Baghdad

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met a number of Sheikhs and dignitaries of Arab Jubour areas in the south of Baghdad. The Speaker listened to a detailed explanation of the situation of those areas. The delegation members also discussed the security and services challenges, and ways to improve the standard of living for citizens.
The Speaker remarked that the time has come to start a new chapter that would positively be reflected on upgrading citizens’ daily lives and getting over the mistakes of the past, stressing that the people of Baghdad’s Border should take upon themselves the responsibility to protect their security and stability since security is everyone’s responsibility.
For their part, the delegation members thanked the Speaker for the important role he plays in supporting the tribes and his endeavors to create harmony and stability in all areas of the country.
