The Speaker meets delegation of al-Boumousawi tribes and emphasizes the role of tribes in establishing principle of peaceful coexistence

The Speaker Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri received on Monday a delegation of elders and dignitaries of the tribe of al-Boumousa/al-Izza clan.
During the meeting, they discussed the political situation in the country, the requirements of the next stage, and the role of the Iraqi tribes in consolidating the principle of peaceful coexistence, renouncing sectarianism, extremism and terrorism, and spreading the spirit of tolerance in support of community reconciliation.
Both sides also discussed the importance of strengthening the Iraqi economy in order to raise the standard of living of citizens, efforts to develop the services sector, find new plans to fight corruption, exploit the country’s wealth in the right direction and integrate all the factors to achieve permanent stability.
