The Speaker confirms keenness of the COR to fix the electoral process in a way that ensures ballots are safe

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Monday UN Special Representative to Iraq Mr. Jan Kubiš. During the meeting, they reviewed the political and security developments in the country and the recent parliamentary resolutions related to amending the election law and forming the next government. The Speaker stressed the keenness of the COR to fix the electoral process in a way that ensures ballots are safe and added, “”the concerned committees deal with recent decisions in accordance with the constitutional procedures that oblige everyone to respect the will of the people.”
