Deputy Speaker receives his Jordanian Counterpart at Baghdad International airport

Deputy Speaker Aram Sheikh Mohammad met the Jordanian delegation that is participating in the 11th session of the PUIC Conference headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament Dr. Mustafa Salih and MP Yusuf al-Jazi and the Secretary General Mr. Mohammad al-Gharir.

Sheikh Mohammad expressed his delight at the arrival of the Jordanian delegation to participate in the conference. He discussed with it ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries and pointed to the importance of the participation of the Arab brothers, especially the Hashemite Kingdom because it is one of the influential countries in the region and can play a positive role towards issues and events in the region.

For his part, Dr. Salih remarked that holding the conference in Baghdad emphasizes that Iraq is restoring it status in the world and confirmed his country’s support to Iraq in its war against ISIS.
