Sheikh Mohammad: Government and political blocs should be prepared for post ISIS reconstruction

Deputy Speaker Aram sheikh Mohammad received the Minister of Interior Mohammad Ghabban at his residence in Baghdad. During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political updates and the efforts exerted by the security forces and the army.

Sheikh Mohammad remarked that the government and the political blocs should be prepared for the post ISIS period and should work hard to reconstruct the liberated areas and secure the return of the IDPs.

For his part, al-Ghabban briefed Sheikh Mohammad on the security situation in Iraq in general and Baghdad in specific especially as it hosts the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States. He stressed the determination of the security institution to move forward and intensify efforts in order to impose Security and protect the lives and property of citizens.
