Sheikh Mohammad: We have moral obligations towards our fellows, and look forward to building better relations with neighboring countries

Deputy Speaker and the head of the Iraqi delegation in the PUIC Conference Aram Sheikh Mohammad stressed the importance of cooperation among the region’s countries, peoples and leaders especially in light of current changes and transformations taking place in the world and the region.

In the speech delivered before the participating delegations, Sheikh Mohammed stated, “we have moral obligations towards our fellows in the achievement of social justice, the peaceful transfer of power, and respect for human rights, adding, “Iraq looks forward to building better relations with neighboring countries and the world and does not want to be a party to any dispute or conflict. It works hard to play a positive role in settling the problems and issues pertaining to security and stability in the region.
