Sheikh Hamoudi: Iraq’s geographical location, and cultural and population diversity play great role in spreading peace, stability, and coexistence among states of the region

During a meeting with Kamal Kharrazi, Head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations of the Republic of Iran and his accompanying delegation, the  First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi remarked, “Iraq’s geographical location, and cultural and population diversity play great role in spreading peace, stability, and coexistence among states of the region”.

Sheikh Hamoudi pointed to the importance of benefiting from the success of the economic experience of Iran, especially with regard to its reliance on alternative sources to replace oil.

For his part, Mr. Kharrazi confirmed his country’s support to Iraq and its keenness on developing the bilateral relations between the two countries and in all areas.
