Sheikh Hamoudi urges government to empower young people and protect them from extremism and manipulation

The First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi congratulated the Iraqi young people on the International Youth Day, describing them as “a great example of love, dedication to the homeland, patience and struggle” and lauding their “great aspirations to build a new Iraq dominated by love and justice”.

On this occasion, Sheikh Mohammad urged the government to “protect the young people from deviant activities, manipulation, and extremist groups that aim at brain washing them and destroying their lives and future”, calling for addressing the reasons that push them to migrate and consequently lead to a loss of human energies.
