Sheikh Mohammad, al-Hakim discuss National Alliance’s role at this critical stage

Deputy Speaker Aram Sheikh Mohammad, in a phone call, congratulated the head of the Islamic Supreme Council Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim for being elected as the head of the national alliance, wishing him success and God’s blessing. For his part, al-Hakim lauded Sheikh Mohammad’s wise steering of the sessions.

Both sides discussed the latest developments on the Iraqi arena and the National Alliance’s role at this critical stage. They stressed the need for mutual cooperation among political entities to support the political process.
