Sheikh Hamoudi: Some Ministries are unsupportive of national product

During the inauguration of a marketing exhibition for direct selling of Leather and textile industries company held in the parliament building, the First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi expressed his sadness at the uncooperative stance of some Ministries including the Ministries of Defence, Interior, Immigration and Agriculture regarding the direct contracting to purchase local product and activate domestic industry and agriculture.

Sheikh Hamoudi urged the Council of Ministers to take strict measures against the institutions that do not support the local product and prefer importation rather than national production, calling on the Committees of Defence, Security, Integrity, and Services to identify the reasons for non-implementation of the recommendations of the Council of Ministers.
