Sheikh Mohammad condoles Iraqis on the martyrdom of Imam Hussein

The Deputy Speaker Aram Sheikh Mohammad paid condolences to the Iraqi people and the Islamic nation on the martyrdom of Imam Hussein on 10th of Muharram. Sheikh Mohammad remarked, “Imam Hussein’s tragedy carries historic dimensions and humanitarian message for various religions. We should follow his example in resisting injustice and corruption and in achieving reform and social justice”.

Sheikh Mohammad stressed the need for coordination and cooperation between the political parties and the COR so it could be able to exercise its legislative and regulatory role to address the current challenges.

Sheikh Mohammad also remarked that the country is going through a crucial phase that requires promoting brotherhood, love and peace among all segments of the Iraqi society.
