The Speaker meets delegation of Mosul residents

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met in his office a delegation of Mosul residents included a number of its dignitaries and a group of civil society organizations, with the presence of the governor of Nineveh Mr. Nofal al-Akub.
Al-Jubouri was briefed on the security and service situation in Mosul especially areas liberated from ISIS and the case of the IDPs.
The Speaker stressed the need for uniting efforts to overcome the current obstacles that hinder the return of the IDPs, urging the civilians to play an active role in reconstructing their liberated areas and working on putting their differences aside and prevailing the public interest.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their appreciation to the speaker’s efforts in achieving harmony and stability in the city in post ISIS era.
