The Speaker, President of Morocco’s House of Representatives discuss bilateral relations

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Moroccan House of Representatives his Moroccan counterpart Mr. Habib al Maliki. During the meeting, both sides touched upon a wide range of issues of bilateral agenda, as well as prospects of enhancement of cooperation in different fields.
The Speaker confirmed Iraq’s desire to build better relations with Kingdom of Morocco in the coming period, appreciating Morocco’s contribution to the consolidation of Arab cooperation.
Al-Jubouri pointed out pointed out that the Iraqi forces are making great progress in the war on ISIS, and the second step will be the reconstruction of the liberated areas.
For his part, Mr. al Maliki confirmed his country’s full support to Iraq in its war against terrorism, calling for a joint parliamentary meeting to be held between Iraq and the kingdom of Morocco to achieve closer cooperation between the two friendly countries.
