The speaker meets Iranian ambassador on the occasion of ending his mission in Iraq

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received in his office on Saturday the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Hasan Danaee Far on the occasion of ending his mission in Iraq.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the bilateral relation between the two countries and means of enhancing them to serve the best interests of both countries. “Iraq is seeking balanced relations with all neighboring and friendly countries, and Iran is an important country with which we have many partners and we must activate cooperation to crystallize these interests to real interests in accordance with the principle of respect for sovereignty and good neighborliness,” the Speaker said.

For his part, the Iranian Ambassador expressed his happiness to work inside Iraq during the last period, stressing that the relations between the two countries need to work more, and that the House of Representatives has a major role in the future of these relations, and his country is ready to cooperate in all fields.
