The Speaker meets delegation of Sheikhs and dignitaries of Qara Gul tribes

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received on Wednesday a delegation of Sheikhs and dignitaries of Qara Gul tribes.

During the meeting, they discussed the security and political situations and the progress of the war in Mosul, wherein the speaker highlighted that the tribes have a significant and important role in preserving the unity of Iraq and protecting its social fabric through its adherence to the bonds of unity and addressing discrimination in all of its forms.

The Speaker praised the role of the Qara Gul tribes in Baghdad and in all the governorates of Iraq for their national positions and their role, along with other Iraqi tribes, in maintaining national unity and dealing with the current challenges through their wisdom and awareness.

The Speaker stressed that he would follow up on these problems in order to find appropriate solutions.

For their part, the delegation members remarked that the liberating Iraq from ISIS is a national duty, emphasizing the importance of national reconciliation to consolidate national unity among Iraqis.
