The Speaker meets delegation of Sheikhs and dignitaries of south Baghdad tribes

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Wednesday a delegation of Sheikhs and dignitaries of south Baghdad tribes. During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political updates and the issue of the displaced people.
The Speaker listened to a detailed explanation made by the delegation members about the problems that their areas face and instructed to address them as soon as possible.
The speaker said that the next stage requires the mobilization of all efforts to maintain the victories that have been achieved in Mosul, stressing that people should participate in the reconstruction of their cities, especially areas affected by terrorist operations.
Al-Jubouri urged the concerned authorities to double their efforts to improve the security and service situations of the areas south of Baghdad, especially as these areas are witnessing a stable security.
Al-Jubouri stressed the importance of giving the issue of IDPs the greatest attention, and help the families to overcome the crisis they are going through, pointing out that the spares no effort to ensure the provision of security and stability to their liberated areas.
For their part, the delegation members appreciated the Speaker’s support for the Baghdad belt areas and his role in passing the laws that contribute to laying the foundations of reconciliation and national unity in the country.
