Sheikh Hamoudi calls for enactment of laws that protects journalists and ensures their safety

The First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi congratulate all journalists for the World Press Freedom Day, and called on concerned Committees to expedite the enactment of a law that protects journalists and ensures their safety.
Sheikh Hamoudi lauded the role of the journalists in confronting media disinformation and highlighting the victories of Iraqi soldiers in the battlefields, stressing the need for taking care of the families of martyrs of the “free word” as being partners in achieving victory.
