The Speaker’s deputy supervises the return of new batch of displaced people to Latifia district

Under the guidance of Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri, the eighth batch of returning displaced families was received in Latifiya district, south of Baghdad.
The Speaker’s deputy Abdul Malik al-Husseini said on Tuesday during a ceremony held by the Baghdad Operations Command in Latifia that the issue of the displaced families receives attention by the Speaker, stressing that the process of the displaced families’ return will continue and will include all areas of South Baghdad in the next few days.
Al-Husseini added that the Baghdad’s Border Badlands are witnessing exceptional stability due to the cooperation between the security forces and the tribesmen, calling on the service ministries to provide services in those areas to accelerate the return of all families.
The returning families thanked the Speaker for his attention and his efforts to bring them in coordination with the security forces back to their homes.
