The Speaker stresses need to develop curricula in the literacy centers and support their creators

The Speaker Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri stressed on Friday the need to make more efforts to develop programs and curricula for the centers of literacy to improve their situation to contribute to the success of this experience. He added in a press statement on the occasion of World Literacy Day, “Ignoring the matter of illiteracy will have serious social repercussions, so the situation requires the creation of solid plans to address this phenomenon and reduce the consequences.” Al- Jubouri praised the efforts of the Ministry of Education and UNESCO in this regard, stressing at the same time the importance of providing the necessary support for lecturers and those who are an essential pillar of the success of that project.
