The Speaker appreciates efforts made by Basra Operations Command to liberate kidnapped Christians

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri praised the efforts made by Basra Operations Command to free the abducted Christians in southern Baghdad. The Speaker affirmed that this pre-emptive operation of the security forces sent a positive signal to the citizens, reassuring them that the security forces are able to impose security and stability throughout the country. He added that the pursuit of organized crime gangs is no less important than combating terrorism because both sides are targeting the security and stability of the homeland and the citizen. He thanked the Basra Operations Command, represented by the Operations Commander, Mr. Jamil Al-Shammari, the Basra Intelligence Directorate and Basra Falcon Cell on this qualitative operation.
