The Speaker opens an electronic screen to display the election results

The Speaker Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri opened the screen for the announcement of the results of counting and electronic sorting of the elections of the provincial councils and the Council of Representatives 2018, which was set up by the Electoral Commission in the courtyard of the Council building on Sunday 17/9/2017.
The Speaker considered the initiative of the Independent Electoral Commission, a development and a qualitative shift that gives reassurance and transparency to its work to the Iraqi people, and expressed his thanks to the Electoral Commission.
On his part, Mr. Wael al-Waeli, Director of the Electoral Service in the Commission, gave a presentation on the work of the system of counting and sorting and the mechanisms that are followed by, noting 59800 electronic devices for counting and sorting will be distributed in all provinces.
