Aram Sheikh Mohammed: Jalal Talabani’s death is great loss to Iraq and Kurdistan

With deep sorrow and pain, we received the news of the death of the Iraqi former President and the PUK Secretary-General, the well-known national figure Jalal Talabani, and on this painful occasion, we offer our sincere condolences to the Iraqi people and to the people of Kurdistan and the President’s family. The departure of President Jalal Talabani, is a great loss to Iraq and Kurdistan, as a national figure with excellence and a long history of struggle against dictatorships. Our only solace today is that our brothers in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan will continue his steps towards freedom and democracy.
