The Speaker meets delegation of elders and dignitaries of Anbar tribes

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Wednesday a delegation of the elders and dignitaries of Anbar tribes.
During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Iraq, the progress of liberation operations in western Anbar and the role of the Iraqi tribes in supporting the security forces to defeat terrorism.
During the meeting, the Speaker stressed the importance of the tribal system and its crucial role in maintaining the unity and integrity of the country and combating terrorism, praising its role in achieving community reconciliation, promoting brotherhood and strengthening social harmony.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their appreciation for the Speaker’s attention and his role in confronting terrorism and sectarian strife, stressing their keenness to support the security forces to liberate all of Iraq and achieve community reconciliation.
