During his meeting with Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq, the Speaker stresses need for Arab and international support

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Monday the ambassador of Kuwait to Iraq Mr. Salim Ghassab al-Zamanan. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means of developing them to serve the interests of the two peoples in addition to the political and security developments in Iraq and the region. The meeting also tackled the issue of the reconstruction of the liberated areas and the provision of services there and the return of the displaced people as soon as possible.
The Speaker stressed “Iraq is now entering an important stage of reconstruction of the liberated cities”, and called for Arab and international support. The Arab countries, including Kuwait, should be present in this regard, he added, lauding the role of the Kuwaiti government and people in supporting the displaced people through providing humanitarian assistance.
