The Speaker: Our goal is to restore stability and bring about economic development in the coming stage

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri participated in the Roundtable Discussion organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Washington on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Speaker stressed the importance of the international community’s support to promote the economic situation in the country, which reflects positively on the standard of living of the Iraqi individual. He pointed out that “the Council of Representatives is keen during its current session to approve laws and legislation that contribute in overcoming many of the crises that accompany the decline of oil prices in world markets.”
He added that “the development of enterprises and industrial facilities is one of the most important goals we are working on after the elimination of ISIS, to create new job opportunities and engage young people in the reconstruction process”.
