The Speaker, head of the Supreme Judicial Council and stress importance of combating corruption

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Tuesday with the head of the Supreme Judicial Council Chief Justice Fa’ik Zaidan.
During the meeting, they reviewed the most prominent political developments and issues related to the judiciary and the resolution of the issue of the detainees as soon as possible.
The Speaker confirmed that the Iraqi parliament supports the judiciary to make all efforts to combat corruption and added that combating corruption is a collective responsibility of all members of society.
