The Speaker stresses importance of mobilizing all potentials to improve citizens’ living conditions

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri attended a large tribal gathering in Taji on Tuesday.

The Speaker stressed during the gathering on the importance of the tribes’ role in maintaining national unity and social peace and the consolidating the culture of citizenship as the true measure of belonging to the country.

During the visit, the Speaker reviewed the living conditions of the people and the services provided to them and ways of improving them, stressing the importance of mobilizing all potentials to improve citizens’ living conditions.

He added that the next phase requires concerted efforts by all to reconstruct the liberated cities and return displaced people to their areas according to specific plans and timings and work to remove all traces left behind by ISIS.

The Speaker explained that the tribes played a great role in promoting the principle of brotherhood among the segments of society by spreading the spirit of coexistence and moving quickly to solve all problems away from the abhorrent sectarian charges.
