COR reads legislative proposal regarding the COR’s formations

In its first plenary session of the second legislative term-fourth legislative year, held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 the COR read legislative proposal regarding the COR’s formations.
The session was chaired by the Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri and attended by 170 MPs.
At the outset of the session, the Speaker of the Council remarked that he received a number of observations during his visit to the province of Basra concerning the financial situation and that he referred them to the Finance Committee in order to be adopted in the general budget, in addition to receiving requests during his visit to the city of Mosul concerning those dismissed from the security services, the kidnapped by ISIS and the missed persons during the entry of security forces.
The Council read a report and discussed the legislative proposal regarding the COR’s formations submitted by the Legal and Financial Committees.

The session was then adjourned.
