Sheikh Hamoudi calls on the Finance Committee to reconsider federal budget’s items related to staff deductions and promotions

The First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi directed the Finance Committee to reconsider the provisions of the federal budget for the year 2018 related to the deductions of salaries of employees and their promotions, noting that the cuts were imposed three years ago at the time of lower oil prices, noting that the Prime Minister and Finance Committee confirmed the possibility of its implementation. Another article in the budget in need of revision relates to the inability to promote the employee or even grant the bonus for the lack of financial allocations or new degrees of employment, pointing out that the current year has seen a significant improvement in oil prices, which should warrant the removal of these articles, especially as they relate to the rights of a large and important segments of society and the individual needs of people.
