COR votes to amend Parliamentary Elections Law

In its 12th plenary session held on Sunday February 11, 2018, the Iraqi Council of Representatives voted on the legislative proposal to amend Parliamentary Elections Law No. 45 of 2013 and submitted by the Legal Committee for the purpose of amending the provisions governing the electoral process, commensurate with the possibilities available to the Commission.
The session was chaired by H.E the Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri and attended by 165 MPs.
The session was adjourned to next Tuesday 13/2/2018.
