The Speaker, the President of Turkey discuss bilateral relations

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Thursday the President of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the need for enhancing them to serve the interests of both friendly countries.
During the meeting, they discussed the role of Iraq in the fight against terrorism and its efforts in the elimination of criminal bandits, the support of the international community in this war and the situation of the displaced people and the reality of humanitarian services.
They also discussed means of enhancing cooperation and coordination in order to achieve lasting stability, especially at politics, security and economy levels, and the need to coordinate regional efforts to maintain the security and safety of the region and promote development, investment and trade cooperation.
