The Speaker stresses need for Arab and international support for reconstruction of Iraq’s liberated cities

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received on Monday the Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria to Iraq Mr. Abdelkader Ben Sh’aa.
During the meeting, they discussed the security and political situation in Iraq and the region and the joint cooperation to fight terrorism. They also discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Algeria and means of strengthening them to ensure the common interests of the two brotherly countries.
The Speaker stressed the need to mobilize Arab and international efforts to achieve security and stability in the region and overcome the crises and problems facing it and to reconstruct the liberated areas and ensure the return of displaced families.
For his part, Mr. Ben Sha’a appreciated the role of Speaker in achieving the security and stability in Iraq and the region, stressing the aspiration of the Government of Algeria and its people to further enhance cooperation with Iraq in all fields.
