The Speaker meets Chairperson and members of Higher Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received on Tuesday the Chairperson and members of the Higher Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women Ms. Zakri Alloush.
During the meeting, they reviewed the situation of Iraqi women in society and the challenges facing them in the light of the current situation and the suffering they have faced over the past period.
They also discussed the role of the Council of Representatives in respecting women and giving them their full rights through the adoption of laws that support these rights and promote them in accordance with international standards.
