The Speaker, Romanian Ambassador discuss bilateral relations between the two countries

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received on Tuesday the Romanian Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Jacob Prada. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels.
The Speaker stressed, “Iraq is at the dawn of new age that requires intensified efforts to rehabilitate and reconstruct the cities that were destroyed by terrorist acts”, and added, “We are looking forward to Romania’s contribution to the reconstruction of the liberated areas and the restoration of security and stability to the region as soon as possible”.
He stressed the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between Iraq and Romania in all fields to serve the interest of the two friendly peoples.
For his part, Mr. Prada lauded the efforts of the Speaker of Parliament in achieving stability, stressing his country’s keenness to cooperate with Iraq and actively contribute to the reconstruction process.
