Sheikh Hamoudi calls for cleaning up the Shatt al-Arab River, and for coordination with the provincial administration to solve the housing crisis

The First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi called for cleaning up the Shatt al-Arab River to lift the sunken ships in the river’s waterway, stressing the need for coordination between the Iranian side and the provincial administration to help solve the crises of housing and roads. He also underlined the importance of banking exchanges between central banks of Iran and Iraq.
This came during his meeting with a parliamentary delegation included more than 15 Iranian parliamentary personal headed by Chairman of the Committee of Construction and Economy in the Iranian Shura Council Dr. Mohammad Rezaei. Head of Iraq-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Commission Abbas al-Bayati and member of Iraqi parliament’s economy and investment commission Abdelkarim al-Naqib were also present in the meeting.
