Sheikh Hamoudi calls on Ministry of Health and Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacist to prevent distribution of counterfeit medications

The First Deputy speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi expressed his appreciation for the role that the Integrity Commission and the Investigations & Inspections Branch at the Ministry of Finance play in confiscating 14 containers loaded with medications being smuggled into UM Qasar port through fake import contracts and without the approval of the Ministry of Health.
Sheikh Hamoudi urged the Ministry of Health to impose strict control on imported drugs and to make contracts with countries that are internationally certified, urging it to cooperate with the Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacist to prevent distribution of counterfeit medications.
