The Speaker assures the Spanish Minister that the end is near for ISIS in Iraq

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri met on Thursday the Spanish ambassador to Iraq Mr. Juan José Escobar. During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political updates and the progress of liberation operations in Mosul. The Speaker stated that the Iraqi forces have achieved great progress in Mosul and that the end is near for ISIS in Iraq, and highlighted the importance of further coordination and cooperation between Iraq and the international coalition to end this extremist organization and to achieve security and stability in the region and the world.
For his part, Mr. Escobar expressed his country’s interest in promoting cooperation in all fields and enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries to serve common interests.
