The Speaker meets Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received in his office on Tuesday Mr. Abdul Qadir Msaheel the Foreign Minister of Algeria and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them to serve the interests of both countries. They also reviewed political and security developments in the region and the war against terrorist and extremist organizations.
The speaker stressed that Iraq seeks to have strong and friendly relations with its Arab brothers. He called for prioritizing dialogue to address crises and to maintain the unity and cohesion of the Arab state.
For his part, the Algerian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s support for Iraq at all levels, and expressed his congratulations for the great victories achieved by the Iraqi forces.
