Sheikh Hamoudi: The government’s handling of referendum crisis was wise, responsible and courageous

During his meeting with the French Ambassador to Iraq Bruno Obert in his office today, the First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Humam Hamoudi confirmed that the federal government’s treatment of the crisis of the referendum was wise, responsible and courageous, praising the positions of some Kurdish forces that restored the spirit of the late President Mam Jalal in his patriotism and rationality. “The postponement of the elections is dangerous and unacceptable,” Sheikh Hamoudi said. “Those who do not believe in democracy do not like holding the elections on time.”
