The Speaker receives the Amir of the al-Obeid tribe in Iraq and stresses the importance of providing services and improving the living conditions of liberated areas

The Speaker Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri received Sheikh Anwar Al-Assi, the Amir of the al-Obeid tribe in Iraq. During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the country and stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and efforts to bring normal life back to the liberated provinces, and the provision of services and the necessities of living for them.
The meeting also dealt with Kirkuk security issue and the importance of providing a safe environment for citizens. The speaker stressed the need to activate all factors of stability in Kirkuk, impose security and protect community from criminals, and do justice in the liberated areas in terms of service and improving their standard of living. “The safe environment can give tribal figures and community leaders the opportunity to participate in promoting lasting stability, raising the level of trust between citizens and the state and achieving harmony among the components of society,” he added.
